The long-term cooperation with the Department African Languages at Fort Hare University, South Africa (Link: Network) has been further intensified recently with an isiXhosa Online Language Course project for beginners (levels G1 and G2). Funded by the Virtuelle Hochschule Bayern (VHB) (https://www.vhb.org/en/homepage/) the project aims at jointly developing a self-teaching online course linked to the VHB network and platforms. This project is carried out in cooperation with the Department of Anthropology at Munich (http://www.en.ethnologie.uni-muenchen.de/index.html). From October 2018, this course will be available online for students from Bavaria and outside and be fully recognized with ECTS credits within the BA and MA AVVA programs at UBT and Anthropology at LMU.
