Balarabe Zulyadaini has been appointed lecturer for Hausa at the University of Bayreuth in December 2005. After finishing his studies in general linguistics, he worked as a senior lecturer in the department of languages and linguistics of the University of Maiduguri, Nigeria, where he also defended his PhD thesis (“Dialects Mixture in Hausa Poetry: Metrical Approach”). .
